I honestly don’t know how I found Sadie, but I’m forever grateful our paths crossed when they did 🥹 Our first project we worked together on was Strong Side a volleyball romance dedicated to none other than Ms. Sadie because she was begging for one and offered to edit it for free because she wanted one so badly, so S.R. Clark & I said say less & we made it into a whole series 🤣 As you can tell it’s been years working together and Sadie has edited 10+ books for me at this point. I often threaten her in the back of each one that she can never stop editing because I’ll never write again if that’s the case (Tilly readers if you’re seeing this Sadie’s the one that has to keep working to keep me writing 🙂↕️) Sadie makes my least favorite part of writing (editing) enjoyable. Each time she gets a manuscript from me I apologize because I know its horrendous but she truly turns it’s into a masterpiece 🥺 with no complaining from her she usually sounds excited (I don’t get it but whatever floats her boat right💀) The line editing alone this woman does for me deserves awards & don’t get me started on the HOLES she finds when copy editing. I co-write a ton and she ensures things are kept cohesive with each co-author with our style sheets. Sadie is an amazing editor & human. I can’t recommend her enough! For the longest time, I thought I knew what proper editing was... until I began working with Sadie at Dot The i Edit, to which I realized I have no idea what I'm doing, and my previous editors had misdirected me down pathways that failed to illustrate my true potential in writing. To say Sadie blows me out of the water consistently would be an understatement. She's thorough in her feedback (especially when something may need a logistical swap, which I appreciate), and she provides style sheets (🙌🏻) that help me understand my writing through someone else's eyes and keep track of series continuation needs.
