I am an Alaskan-born, New Yorker—the almost-Canadian, Upstate kind—mom to two rambunctious boys and three sweet fur babies, and an obsessive sourdough lady. In 2022, I was feeling the full effects of Covid burnout from working in the medical field while raising two babies and frequently venting to my husband about needing a change. With his support and encouragement to try something new, I took the leap to invest in my first editing course. Now, by day, I work as an ultrasound tech, and by night and days off from the hospital, I get to work as a freelance editor for so many talented indie romance authors. I feel honored to play such a special part in helping writers feel confident in releasing their books to the world, and I hope I have the pleasure of working with you too!

I’m still in disbelief over the incredible success and support I’ve had through Dot The i Edit. To have the trust of so many talented authors to allow me to work with them is a privilege that I don’t take lightly. I look forward to continuing to connect with more authors, editors, narrators, creators, etc., as I build my business and grow as an editor. 💜

Since I took that first course in 2022, I have continued to take editing courses of varying types. In addition to the courses I’ve completed through Edit Republic, I’ve enrolled in a few additional self-paced courses that I’ve slowly been working through. These include a developmental editing course that I can apply to the fiction editing I already do and a content/media course that is geared more towards business marketing.

I thoroughly enjoy editing and working with authors and will always strive to improve my knowledge and expertise to be able to provide the best service I can!
